The Return of Stickman #977

A lot of comic conventions have very affordable tables in the artists’ alley. And when you think of how they provide two passes per table, and how much a full event pass is, well, okay it doesn't even out. But, as I waddled along in line with the rest of the fanboy kingdom, I thought of two things. One, freaks and weirdos have a lot of disposable income. Two, it sure would be nice to be sitting behind a table right now.

  1. When I went in on Sunday there were about 10 people in line for tickets ahead of me. I noticed at least two windows with nobody in front of them and then realized they were cash only. I walked right up, bypassing the 10 people, and handed over a $20 ( got back $5, don't know why ), and hey presto.

  2. But, if you go on Sunday, you miss the costume contest and that's always so much fun.

  3. Good point, but I had already promised to spend a good part of Saturday re-enacting the battles around Tunisia in WWII.

This is merely a precaution.
