Welcome to PooBahSpiel, the online voice and home of the creative mind of Mark Monlux, Illustrator Extraordinaire. Prepare yourself for an endless regaling of art directly from the hand of this stellar artist. And brace yourself against his mighty wind of pontification. Updates are kinda weekly and show daily sketches, current projects, and other really nifty stuff.
Who says stick figures are anything less than other comic styles? There are people out there who can't even draw decent looking stick figures. Perhaps Stowe's grumbling is really jealousy at your talent to take some lines and circles and turn them into something cool. :)
The great thing about Stickman is the accessibility of the art. (Well, that and the terrific, witty writing.) Stickman is just an average guy in an average office and there's not a lot of distractions to get lost in.
The simple format actually highlights your writing ability in a unique setting. I enjoy the Comic Critic and all the other comics on your website but I always get excited when I see a Return of Stickman email in my inbox.
Really informative! Thank you. I hope you produce books that are filed with Stick Dude educating us stick people on how to navigate the whole sell your stickself life. Thank you!
