The Return of Stickman #1153

A strip like this one just writes itself. I heard that there is going to be a new television show coming out next fall called "JC", in which Jesus moves away from "home" to get out of his father's shadow. I'm kinda looking forward to seeing the promos for that one.

The Return of Stickman 1076

The report I read said the girl was egged on by her friends. I'm kind of wondering why they didn't end up on the hood.

The Return of Stickman #1059

Upon catching the little four footed saboteur I contemplated how else I could wreck my vegance on the vermin, but his little tail sticking straight out with rigor mortis softened my cruel heart.

The Return of Stickman #1046

What a bummer for the car dealership guy. First he doesn't get a commission, then he looses his iphone, and you just know he's going to get grilled when he gets back to the dealership. It's enough to make you want to change careers.

The Return of Stickman #1045

I can understand the guy not calling the cops. I wouldn't want to be part of a death-risking high speed chase either. But, just how well will your situation go down with your boss when you call it in?

The Return of Stickman #990

This is for all of those curious fans who are always interested in my dreams. Sometimes I dream very boring stuff. Or, in this case, somebody I know dreams boring stuff. And it all goes into the strip.

The Return of Stickman #940

Pick any month of the year and you can usually find at least one news story of a kid who suddenly went for a ride.

The Comic Critic Reviews Death at a Funeral and The Return of Stickman #903

I enjoy watching movies about funerals. I think that I’m attracted to wondering if the dead have a final surprise waiting for us. Maybe it’s a message left behind by plan or accident. Maybe it’s a long held secret finally revealed within the will. Or just the opening spill gates of raw emotion drenching everyone. Whatever the cause, for me a funeral movie is like a roadside accident, my curiosity of how bad the damage is always gets the better of me and I have to rubberneck. And if you rubberneck as well, you will see something more than a mere fender-bender as there is some heavy wreckage occurring. There might even be a fatality.

I bet the boys down at Soapy's are still talking about this.

Media Inc. Ad

With all the traveling I did this month, I’d forgotten that I was scheduled to get a quarter page ad into Media Ink last Friday. Thankfully, the magazine gave me a call and reminded me. My problem was that a project I took on last week grew a little bit. Once I met the client’s deadline I found I only had a few hours to complete my own ad. So, I flipped through the pile of portfolio samples and found an image of which I was rather proud. I quickly thought up a line of copy and banged out my ad. Naturally, I think this is a clever ad, perfectly honed for the audience to which the magazine is distributed. Still, I’m curious as to what other people think. How would you score this ad on a scale of one to ten?
