The Return of Stickman #852

I want to thank Comic Book Inc. for being this week's first prize sponsor for the Frost Park Chalk Off. And what was first prize, won by yours truly? Issues #1-8 of Danger Girl.

The Return of Stickman #851 and My Big Chalky Eye

I had a lot of fun of the 28th Frost Park Chalk Off yesterday. My neighbor during the competition was Andrea from Unstable Art. She has won a number of the Chalk Offs and is in current running for Grand Champion. Though, I think that James Stowe is currently in the lead for that honor. Just two more competitions to go before a final tally is made.

Well, that came back to bite me in the ass.

My good friend, fellow cartoonist, and Chalk Art Champion Extrodinairé, James Stowe got a great idea. As a daily exercise throughout the spooky month of October he would combine two random things and create little monsters. He would draw both things, and then what they would combine into. And he would call these creations Stoweckies. His first Stoweckie, Vampire + Squid = Squidpire, set off a wave of suggestions. It also prompted me to send him in a submission.

James has his own idea of what a Robot and Zombie combination should look like. Check out and the other Stoweckies he's come up with at:

The Return of Stickman #847

While I had some other strips lined up in my buffer, I got a brainstorm last night for this one. I just couldn't resist.

I'm tempted to do another strip on this to show a behind the scenes scenario of what led up to the tasering. Oh yeah, this really happened.
